I had a great week as it’s getting easier and easier to be out and about. Sometimes I think I have been given an angel instead of a baby, as my little man is just too easy on us a lot of the time. Here are the things that made my week…

I’ve started getting right back into the swing of using my thermomix, but more on that next week I think. This week, these meals struck my fancy –
I’ve been looking into the Photo Apps, trying to decide which to download to edit my photo’s… So which do you think is best? iPhoto, PhotoGene or Snapseed? Or something entirely different? Any advice would be much appreciated!
Until next week, hope yours is fabbo! As always, let me know the things that made your week, would love to hear them…
Last year I went all out for Christmas gift giving wise. I have a big family, and my husband has a big extended family, and my enthusiasm for the festive season cost us a lot of money! So this year I cut back completely (unless you include the thermomix I bought so I could cut back!) and decided to make most of the gifts for all extended family and friends – from my kitchen to yours style.
One of my favourite blogs at the moment is the Tart Tart, and I picked up this recipe from there. It worked beautifully!
Two punnets of cherry tomatoes should do three small jars of gifts. All you will need is the tomatoes, four cloves of garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Cut the tomatoes in half, and coat in olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Place the tomatoes and garlic on a baking tray and cook on 150 degrees celsius for about two hours.
Voila! Once they are cooled they can be put into jars. Such a beautiful gift! I’m currently searching “My Kitchen To Yours” printables to make them pretty!
